The Future of Education: Research Discussion Day

Futurelab is holding a Research Discussion Day on 19th May featuring a mix of Futurelab's current research findings as well as the latest thinking from the wider worlds of education and industry.

The day will feature a mixture of Futurelab presentations and external speakers focusing on the following themes:

• Teachers and innovations - supporting innovative educational practices
• Transforming learning spaces– thinking beyond the classroom
• Informal and family learning – exploring the wider learning landscape

There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the DCSF/Futurelab ‘Beyond Current Horizons’ project exploring longer term challenges for education, looking towards understanding potential transformations in society and technology in 2025 and beyond.
