Call for Proposals

Swansea Academy of Learning and Teaching invites proposals for seminars to be held during the conference to showcase good and effective practice in learning, teaching, and assessment across the University. Proposals on the following themes are especially encouraged:
· Feedback on Assessment
· Enhancing the First Year Experience
· Learning and Teaching that is Research Led and Practice Driven

Proposals on other subjects, for example teaching large groups, enhancing employability, peer and group assessment or widening access will also be welcomed. Whether you have an example from a pedagogic research project, feedback from a new teaching intervention or an innovation in learning and teaching which you feel could benefit other staff and students across the institution, please consider sharing these. Conference sessions can take the form of a seminar, discussion, poster or workshop.

If you have a proposal for the conference please submit a short abstract (approx 200 words) to Phil Brophy in the Academic Registry on 2721, p.a.brophy@swansea.ac.uk Alternatively if you would like to discuss your proposal please contact Phil Brophy, or Dr Paul Latreille, Director of Swansea Academy of Learning and Teaching – p.l.latreille@swansea.ac.uk

The Conference and the call for proposals is open to all staff including Learning and Teaching support. Please respond by the 31st of March.
